Welcome: Sheep & Goats of the Farm

They 'smiling' small heritage breed that is hardy to raise.  Ewes are easy lambers and good mothers. They are a solid stature sheep breed that is easy to care for, wool that has a shorter staple excellent for also mixing with finer fibers due to it's barbs or on it's own for knitting and this meat producing breed is excellent for the table. Our flock is NABSSAR registered.

We will be lambing spring 2021 our first F2 lambs from our imported Valais Ram semen with our raised on the farm F1 ewes from Spring 2020 lambing. Our flock is registered and DNA tested.

The Angora Goats came to Salsberry Farms February 2021. We had two kids born 3/17/2021, one doeling and one buckling. Looking forward to shearing and having mohair fiber available.

Rams are solid stature, excellent meat producers and wool same as the Babydoll ewes. Our flock of Babydolls are NABSSAR registered and codon tested as indicated.

We are participants in the Valais Breed Up Program in the United Statses of America. Imported Valais semen from top breeders overseas. This breed is quite the rage due to it's gorgeous looks and personality.  Above is picture of FI wethers. Our flock is registered and DNA tested.

Angora goats are new to our farm February 2021. The Angora Bucks we have are yearlings and we will be having a few available in the near future for sale. Curly mohair fiber.
